Cash for toilets, just don't flush it

The City of Abbotsford and the District of Mission have teamed up to offer a rebate of $50 for each toilet replacement when a new ultra-low flow model is installed in your home. It's all part of a program to make bathroom renovations more environmentally-friendly. Abbotsford and Mission are also hoping to cut down on sewage treatment costs.
The toilet rebate is available for all detached single-family homes built before September 30, 2005. To qualify for this rebate, your home must be using city water and your new toilet must meet certain standards. The toilet must have been purchased and installed after April 1, 2009. Old toilets must be dropped off at the Abbotsford/Mission Recycling Depots on 33670 Valley Road (or 7229 Mershon Street for Mission residents).
The rebate covers a maximum of two toilets for residential dwelling. Applications and more information is available online @ abbotsford.ca or mision.ca or in person at the city halls.
Your city's got another great idea, don't delay, get your toilet money before dec 2009.
